JACK IN THE BOX

Joining the David & Goliath team once again, we were tasked with a full overhaul of Jack in the Box packaging. The objective was to make each product/size from their robust menu easily distinguishable for in-store staff members on the assembly line, as it had been consistently noted that similar looking packaging was inhibiting employees from packing properly and efficiently.

We exercised multiple approaches, from highly conceptual to fine-tuned classification systems. Client not only wanted the new design to be functional on an in-store level, but the ask was to breathe new life into the type-heavy branding that had been the face of Jack for a few years. Below are the executions that I was most fond of and does not reflect the final product of a joint-effort between multiple teams at David & Goliath.
